3000 +/- tons Alfalfa/Grass Mix*

Location: 10 Miles East of Sturgis on Highway 34 in Bear Butte Valley at mile marker 45.

Selling: 3000+/- tons 2009 1st and 2nd cutting Alfalfa-Alfalfa/Grass mixed hay.

Auctioneers and Sellers will be on site November 30th and December 3rd for inspection from 1:00 PM to 3:00 P.M. or call for a private showing.

*Auctioneers note: Welcome to the 4th Annual Hay & Equipment Auction at the Bachand Ranch. Hay quantity will be determined by the 2010 hay crop, we will plan to have at approx 3000 ton maybe more maybe less. Mike takes special care to see that his hay is put up “right” as they will continue to sell hay at auction for years to come.  The hay will be weighted to average, all hay is on site in 2-3 locations and will be put up in round bales and weighed for average weight. Bale weights are for reference only all hay will be sold by the bale, not by the ton. All hay will be sold by the bale per stack. Stack sizes will be either 21 or 31 bale stacks with “filler bales” available.

Hay info: New this year-A portion of the bales will be Net Wrapped and Plastic twine wrapped-110# twine; 18 wraps per bale; 66” bales set at approx 1350#; Baled at 14-18% moisture if possible; All hay is in 21 or 31 bales stacks

Terms: Cash or Bankable Check, no hay or equipment removed until paid for. All hay will be sold by the Bale in lots determined by the Seller/Auctioneer.  All hay and equipment is sold strictly as is without warranty of any kind, inspect and bid accordingly.
